While collectors treasure the highly detailed hand painted finishes, fishermen love their realistic profiles and spectacular actions! All Musky Snax baits are hand crafted in Muskoka Ontario, Canada by owner and artist Mike Bromelow.

Each bait is individually weighted, balanced and tested by me before it is painted to ensure perfect action.

As of Jan 1st 2008 all Musky Snax baits sold will be the new Oak wood, plastic dipped jointed models. No more solid body cedar gliders will be available. Due to being a one man operation I can not possibly keep up with the demand for all the models I offer so I'm limiting production to only the premium jointed models. These incredible lures are the ultimate representation of a live bait fish and extensive field testing has proven them to be deadly on many large game fish.

I will no longer be taking orders for baits as of Jan 1st 2008. Instead, as batches of baits are completed they will be posted here for sale on the freshwater page and sold on a first come first serve basis. This is so I don't keep paying customers waiting to receive their baits and to allow me to divide my time between lures and custom airbrushing. As an option you can contact me and ask to be added to a waiting list for a certain model to become available. No deposit required and no obligation to purchase. I will contact customers on the list as the baits they want become available. If they no longer wish to purchase the baits they will be moved to my webpage and listed for sale.

All Musky Snax baits for 2008 are made from solid Oak which is then dipped and sealed in a propionate plastic mixture. This is the very same plastic dip used by several other major lure manufacturers. It not only seals and waterproofs the wood but it gives me a smooth surface to work my magic on. These are the most durable wooden lures of their kind on the market! Please check out the Sponsors page for more info on where to purchase the probionate pellets.

Eyes and gills are carefully airbrushed on. The baits are painted with Auto Air colors for maximum durability and eye popping intensity! Some models even feature color shifting finishes that will blow your mind!
Tails and fins made of durable microfibres are another new addition for 2008 and add an incredible extra dimension of realism. Once epoxied into the baits they hold up to fish after fish unlike rubber.
